Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

PTOECO (ptoskipp.com) is operated by PTO Ski. This page explains what happens to information when you use this site.

What we collect

No account or form data from ordinary browsing. You can't create an account on PTOECO today, and the site has no sign-up or contact forms.

No advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics. PTOECO does not set cookies during ordinary browsing. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party analytics scripts.

Click counts. When you click a button that takes you to PTO Ski, we record which item you clicked, where on the site the button was, and the time. The record does not contain your IP address. Deal clicks are never linked to an account; gear clicks would be linked to a PTOECO member account only if you were signed in, which is not possible today. We use these counts to see which pages are useful.

Retention. PTOECO currently keeps click-count records until they are manually deleted.

Links to PTO Ski and other sites

Many pages link to products on ptoski.com, the PTO Ski online store. These links include tags (for example utm_source=ptoeco) that tell PTO Ski the visit came from PTOECO. Once you are on ptoski.com, PTO Ski's own privacy policy applies.

Other pages link to ski resorts, retailers, and source websites. If you follow one of those links, that site receives ordinary request data and its own privacy policy applies.

Other services that receive request data

• Product images on the Deals page are loaded from Shopify's image servers (cdn.shopify.com). Those servers receive your IP address and browser details when they send the image.
• Hosting and security. PTOECO is hosted on Render, and requests pass through Cloudflare's network before reaching it. Cloudflare and Render receive IP addresses and request details (such as time and page) and keep logs according to their own settings and privacy policies.

Weather forecasts and snow data come from the US National Weather Service and USDA NRCS SNOTEL. Our servers fetch that data, not your browser.

Selling and sharing

PTOECO does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Do Not Track

PTOECO does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals, because it does not track you across other websites.

Children

PTOECO is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If what PTOECO collects, how it uses it, or who it shares it with changes, we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
